Making a Life in Wales
Hey! Welcome to my website and nice to meet you! I'm Angharad and I am currently located in the sumptuous lands of Aberystwyth. As my name can often be a stickler, my friends call me Ang, but Mum calls me "Oi, Madam" when I'm pestering the dog too much.
Although I was born in Winchester, I grew up in the West Midlands, and moved to the coast for university in 2014. I graduated from Aberystwyth University with a degree in English Literature and Creative Writing back in 2017, and again in 2019 with a Masters in Law. Just before moving away from Aber to begin the next leg of my studies, my brilliant boyfriend convinced me that I should make a real go of being a photographer and kick around. So I did! (and my future paychecks are still devastated with this decision).
Since then, I have upgraded my equipment, gone to get my hair cut at least three times, and my photograph ‘Just One More Night Shift’ was selected by the Duchess of Cambridge to feature in the Hold Still Exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery! I am also about to begin a Masters in Photography at Falmouth University, because academic stress is the spice to my life.
Now enough about me! Get in touch and we'll go grab a coffee!
