So I photograph rather a lot!

Hello, I’m Angharad! I’m a photographer mostly based in Aberystwyth, although I often pap around Wales and beyond in my beautiful, blue van!

I’m a glutton for a golden hour, and will photograph just about anything: people, weddings, places, pets, events, solar activity, racing… you get the picture.

My toxic trait is that I’m hopelessly in love with capturing everything, and my happy place is being let loose anywhere with a camera in my hand. And if I say so myself, I am very good at directing people so you’ll never have to worry about how to ‘pose’. It’s my job to arrange you into your most gorg, authentic self, and I have a lifetime of experience doing it.

My photograph ‘Just One More Night Shift’ was selected by the Princess of Wales to feature in the National Portrait Gallery, in 2024, I won 3rd place at the International Photography Awards with ‘Giovanni’s Room’, I’m an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society, I have a BA in English Literature and Creative Writing, an MA in Photography, and I’m also an Adobe Certified Professional (x3) because I crave academic validation to feel some semblance of peace.

When I’m not in profesh Photog mode, I’m learning Welsh (with mixed results, but always with enthusiasm), paddleboarding, going up mountains (not because I love exercise but rather the solitude and light that comes with being up high), toddling about sumptuous National Trust houses with a well-stocked picnic, tinkering on a ham radio with family (my call sign is M6EDA), likely fixing the van, reading ridiculous amounts of fanfic, and lastly, I’m the Head of Digital Collections Services (Digitisation) at the National Library of Wales.

Basically, I’ve decided I can rest when I’m dead.
